Day 1: USA - Buenos Aires.
Arrival to Buenos Aires. Reception at the airport (Meet & Greet). City Tour: “Images of Buenos Aires” This tour shows the city’s highlights, looking through its history and culture: the historic development, the immigration process, and the major cultural topics.
Overnight at Buenos Aires, Alvear Palace Hotel - B
Day 2: Buenos Aires.
Thematic Walking Tour: “Aristocratic Buenos Aires” Dinner and Tango show.

Day 3: Buenos Aires - Jujuy - Tilcara.
Flight to Jujuy. Reception at the airport and transfer to the hotel in Tilcara. Visit to Pucara de Tilcara, a Pre-Hispanic fortress. Preparation of our trekking gear with the help of the guide. In the evening we enjoy a typical meal at a regional restaurant.

Day 4: Tilcara - Wairahuasi.
Early morning departure to Casa Colorada, located 3200 meters above sea level, where the trekking begins. The trail is thousands of years old and was used by the first settlers that bartered or gathered food in both ecological areas. This ascent takes us up to 4500 meters above sea level enjoying beautiful panoramic views. Arrive to the mountain shelter.

Day 5: Wairahuasi - Sepultura.
Enjoy the transition between the semi desert of the Quebrada de Humahuaca and the jungle of the subtropical area. Arrive to the mountain shelter.

Day 6: Sepultura - San Lucas.
In this section of the trip, the company of deer, pavas monteras and some condor in pairs is not unusual. Arrive to San Lucas, one of the prettiest rural villages of Jujuy.

Day 7: San Lucas - San Francisco - City of Salta.
Walk through waterfalls over 60 meters high and mountain caves. Arrival at Peña Alta, end of the trek. Transfer to San Francisco for lunch. Way back through Calilegua National Park, and continue to Salta.
Overnight at City of Salta, Solar de la Plaza Hotel - B/L
Day 8: City of Salta - Buenos Aires.
Visit to the colonial city of Salta. Transfer to the airport. Flight to Buenos Aires. Reception at Buenos Aires City Airport and transfer to the Hotel.
Overnight at Buenos Aires, Alvear Palace Hotel - B
Day 9: Buenos Aires - USA.
Transfer to Ezeiza International Airport to go back to USA.
