Day 1:
We fly to Tucumán. Reception at the airport. 4x4 pick-up trip to Tafí del Valle through mountainside roads and into Tucumán's jungle.
Overnight at Hostería Tafí del Valle - D
Day 2:
In 4x4 pick-ups, we climb theCordillera Central (Central Mountain Range) and go past Hualfín and Villa Vil, very arid landscapes. We tour Cuesta de Randolfo (Randolfo Slope), dominated by gigantic sand dunes where we can see vicuna herds. Arrival to El Peñón, a small mountain village.
Overnight at Small Rustic Adobe Homes - B/L/D
Day 3:
The motorcycling trip begins. We ride up the Cordillera Blanca (White Mountain Range), which has high plateaus, small dormant volcanoes and volcanic, stony soil. We enjoy a "chivito al asador" (barbecued goat meat) for lunch in a local home. We continue our excursion on the motorcycles. Return to El Peñón.

Day 4:
Motorcycling to Antofagasta de la Sierra, a village situated 3,000 meters (around 9,900 ft.) above sea level. We explore Catamarca's Puna, a very dry area, with small undulations, watching several vicuna and guanaco herds. Return to El Peñón.
Ovenight at Small Rustic Adobe Homes - B/L/D
Day 5:
We ride the motorcycles to the Galán Volcano and Laguna Grande. Depending on the season, we will encounter hundreds of pink flamingos, llamas or vicunas. Tour across lava fields and mountains with sand dunes. Return to El Peñón.

Day 6:
Motorcycling outing to Río de las Cuevas where the pick-ups await us. We begin our return to Tucumán city where we spend the last night.
Ovenight at Suite Garden Park - B/L
Day 7:
Transfer to Tucumán city Airport for the flight to Buenos Aires.
