Day 1:
We fly to La Rioja. 4x4 tour to Cuesta de Miranda (Miranda Slope). Mountain bike descent through the slope, enjoying a spectacular mountainside road with fabulous views of the valley. Arrival to Villa Unión.
Biking: 3 hours
Overnight at Hotel Pircas Negras - L/D
Day 2:
4x4 pick-up ascent to Corona del Inca's Big Crater. We explore the fascinating geological foldings in Quebrada de la Troya (Troya Gorge). We enter the Andean Mountain Range via the multicolored Quebrada del Peñón (Peñón Gorge). Visit to historical sites. Arrival to Laguna Brava Reserve, 4,200 meters above sea level (around 13,800 ft.). We tour Bahía de los Flamencos (Flamingo Bay), watching vicuna and guanaco herds. We continue along the gorge in Río Veladero and Cañón del Inca. Arrival to the Big Crater. We reach a spectacular blue lake and majestic permanent glaciers on its borders. Biking descent through Troya Gorge. Arrival to Villa Unión.
Biking: 1 hour.
Overnight at Hotel Pircas Negras - B/L/D
Day 3:
Visit to one of the most spectacular natural landscapes in Argentina: Talampaya National Park. Trekking across Talampaya River canyon.
Walking: 2 hours.
Overnight at shelter - B/L/D
Day 4:
4x4 tour to Ciudad Perdida (the Lost City) and the amazing Valle de la Luna (Moon Valley). Return to La Rioja city.
Overnight at Naindo Park Hotel - B/L/D
Day 5:
Transfer to La Rioja's Airport to board the flight to Buenos Aires.
