Day 1:

Transfer to Puerto Madero (City of Buenos Aires) and departure at 7 AM. After 6 hours of sailing the almost 30 nautical miles separating both river banks, arrival to the City of Colonia del Sacramento at noon. We explore the historical town,(dating from the 18th century) we visit the Fort, Plaza Mayor, the typical little stone streets of that time and the city's lighthouse. By night, we return to the sailboat to spend the night.

Overnight on the sailboat - Dinner

Day 2:

Breakfast onboard. We sail along the Uruguayan coastline, bordering the beautiful bays of white-sand beaches, and then skipping jetties 10 km away from Colonia. We anchor in the mouth of a stream, and go hiking on a white-sand bay and green coast woods. Return to Buenos Aires in the afternoon.

The Sailboat: The vessel is a Zabra 980 sailboat equipped for top onboard comfort and safety. It has 7 beds in all, a full bathroom with a sink, a refrigerator, a stove with an oven, an inboard diesel engine, complete navigation instruments, automatic pilot, satellite navigator, VHF marine radio, inflatable boat with an engine, and all the oceanic safety equipment, including a self-inflatable lifeboat for 8 people.
